Another Uber question

If you take Uber in over an hour before park opening (let's not consider the MK hurdles at this point - just the other 3 parks) - what is the situation if they are not allowing cars through the toll plaza yet? Do they hold back the Uber drivers or are they allowed to drop you off?

I've seen people getting dropped off at the Speedway station for HS - so made me wonder.

Do the Speedway drop off if you can. This got me and my daughter two rides on SDD before the big crowds hit TSL this past Friday. We got up early and out the door early. Paid off big time. My daughter thought I was a loonatic but later realized I knew what I was doing.

Not sure how long the Speedway drop off thing will last. I think either Disney or Speedway could put a stop to it? I mean I guess it is a "loophole" that is available right now that Disney wants reserved for their Epcot/HS resort guest only? Or am I wrong on that and Disney could care less? Not sure.

I see the real advantage that those have who are able to walk to HS in the morning. But if I can do it while staying at Pop or AoA, I could see no reason to book a more expensive room at the BW or the Yacht Club. But I don't know, maybe Speedway will at some point want to put an end to it. We went in and bought some drinks and breakfast on our trip and ate along the way.
