Another try at a trip report - day 8

Day 8, Thursday, Sept 26

Today we take the morning off from the parks. We drove to a nearby town to visit relatives and stopped at Walmart to replenish our cooler and supplies.

In the afternoon we decide to do "Desserts Around Epcot." I got a rice creme in Norway, a bread pudding and a mousse in France. I can't remember what DH had, but I am certain it was chocolate! DH has decided he wants to visit the real France after watching the movie.

We sat for awhile and watched the living statues perform. They were also shooting a commercial in Morocco - that was interesting!

I wanted to see Off Kilter, but it just didn't work out this trip. Maybe next time!

We walked back to the Dolphin via the boardwalk. All week long we have been tempted to talk to one of the various DVC sales people that are all over the place. Today, we get sucked in and make an appointment to take a tour in the morning. DH is not too happy with me.....

We are tired so we return to our room and watch Illuminations from our window. We had some cheese, fruit, and bread for dinner.

Tomorrow is our last day - boo hoo!

and also from Epcot....it is really a nice relaxing way to unwind after being go go go .....I have yet to do a dessert walk.....sounds good to me........usually after being in the World Showcase I want apple streudal and vanilla sauce......all the time.....thanks again

I better not mention desserts around the world to DH - he would want to do it every day!!!

I can't convince my husband that DVC would be a good thing for us. He is <b>so</b> Disney impaired that it isn't funny

I've been trying to get my DW to want to join DVC No luck yet Dessert's around the world sounds great.
