Another transferring points question

Let's say I have 100 pts left from my dec07 UY , Is it possible to borrow some from my dec08 UY combine it with the 100 then have it transferred to another member or i can only transfer the 100 pts.?

Borrowed or banked points can not be transferred.

If I understand correctly you could transfer the 100 2007 UY points as your one transfer for that uy. You could then transfer the number of points from the 2008 UY as your one transfer from that UY. You would then be out of transfers for those UYs. The person you transfer the points to can bank or borrow the points as they retain the original resort and UY and you can bank or borrow transferred points just not transfer banked or borrowed.

Unfortunately, my UY is Dec. , i know i can transfer the 100 now but i have to wait til Dec 08 before i can transfer another one since i cannot borrow from that UY to transfer points right? another question is if i transfer my 100 points now, can i borrow from my dec08 UY to rent out points? just want to use $ for a DCL trip. 09 cruise points are so high.

You can borrow points to make a rental reservation, but, if the renter cancels for some reason, you may then stuck with points that can not be banked. Given your Dec UY, you may want to risk it, since it is only January, but I wouldn't think it is a good thing to do on a regular basis.

Actually, unless it has changed, you cannot borrow transferred points. So, the OP can transfer both her 07 points and her 08 points today (you can transfer points from at least your next UY), but they could not be combined for an 07 UY trip by the recipient because the 08 transferred points cannot be borrowed. They could be used for an 08 UY trip because the transferred points can be banked.
