Another Tour Guide Mike Question

I bought TGM and have had just about two hours to try it out and at this point I am so disapointed. All I see is a bunch of articles. Do you not get a printed plan??? Like 7:45 be at the gate, 8:00 be here and get a fast past to this as you go. I really wanted a list not an article. Have I just missed something???

Try going to the forums. Check out the plans of others. Many have taken the words and organized their plans for review.

I purchased my TGM about 2 days before my trip last month. I do not think that this is enough time. There are plans in there, not too easy to find, but they are there. I got my money back because I did not find it too helpful. I think there should be some warning that if you are within a certain amount of time before your trip that the purchase may not be worth it.
I think it could be, assuming you purchase it far enough in advance. There is a lot of information, but when you purchase it too close to your departure date, you don't have enough time to weed through it all to find what you are looking for. Since I did get my money back I can't go in to help point you to where the plans are. Good luck.

TGM does not provide a customized touring plan based on information you put in if that is what you were expecting. That is explained on the FAQ section before purchasing. There are sample tour plans that are very good.

I forgot to mention that, if you like minute by minute instructions, like back of The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World then try their site "touringplans". They build nice maps too. They are limited to specific tours, you can look at their site for the types.

All of the sources books and websites have similar information. TGM seems to be more current, since he and his people are visiting the parks frequently. His site is the only place you will find anything on how to do AK with EE.

The navigation on TGM is confusing, even with his instructions. The information, if you can find it is the best. The forums are smaller and more focused, they give you a slightly different view than the DISboards.

The DISboards are a full time job to keep up with, and what a job it is.
