Another totally newbie question

DH is trying to get me to buy resale at the BWV because according to DH, BWV is "home" ever since our wedding at Seabreeze Point. Anywho, I do love BWV but those points expire (I think) 15 years earlier than buying direct from Disney into AKL. I understand the points and UY, I believe. So here's the question: if you have a small amount of points (less than 100) at BWV and 160 at AKL, can you still book BWV 11 months out and go into your points that are designated for AKL? And if so, do you have to use up all BWV points first (current year plus next year's points) before you can use AKL points for the BWV? I do understand that if I wanted to wait till 7 months out I can use AKL for the BWV....

Sorry to spoil the plan but the answer is no. To use AKV points at the BWV you have to wait until 7 months out to do it. You can't combine contracts from two home resorts at 11 monthsto make a reservation.

Yup 11 months is only for your home resort with enough points there for your stay.
