Another tipping question- Character meals.

Do the characters at the buffet meals get a percentage of the tip left? If so, I would have no problem tipping a little extra. If not, and I feel my party has received exceptional character interaction should I give the tip to a manager to leave to "Tigger" or "Mickey" for me. I have been to some excellent character meals where the characters were the ones who truly deserved the tip so just want to know how to show proper apprecitation.

Costumed park characters and their handlers are NOT tipped positions and for them to accept a tip could very well lead to their dismissal.

At least - that's how I understand it .. but I'm going to move this over to the Restaurants and Dining board ... they'll know for sure..
