Another Tipping Amount Question

Silly question, but after seeing lots of posts it got me thinking. I have seen different figures thrown around. Many times people say they leave a certain amount per person. Do they mean per person in the party staying in the room, or per mousekeeper?\

We'll be there soon, and I don't remember how much we left when we were there the last time. When we came back from a day at the parks, we found this, my daughters stuffed Koda & Kenai sitting on a pillow at the end of the bed, watching Disney cartoons. My daughter loved it.

They mean per person in the party. Example - $4 per night, because there are four people in the room.

This is popular topic, but in another thread recently, it appeared that the average tip was more like $5 per night, instead of $1 per person in the room. You'll get a different answer everytime.

It's a personal choice!

Thanks.

They mean "per person occupying the room." And the tips don't really correspond with housekeeping doing special stuff.

And honestly, there are so many people that don't tip at all. From what I've read, I think us DIS people are thoughtful and generous with tipping mousekeeping - which I think is awesome :thumbsup2
