Another ticket question

I just want to make sure I understand (hopefully Robo will be along shortly with an answer ). I have a 5 day MYW ticket bought using the Canadian discount. If I want to upgrade the ticket to a Park Hopper ticket do I have to pay the difference between what I paid for the 5 day MYW ticket and the cost of a 5 day Park Hopper or do I only have to pay the price for the Park Hopper add on?

Last I saw was a recommendation to look on the Canadian Trip Planning board (HERE) for an answer.
