Well... here we go...if the tkt wasn't signed on the back you could try it. if you bought them before they installed the new finger scan equipment for the Magic Your Way tkts no problem. If you bought them after and the scan of an
unsigned tkt doesn't match the finger scan, they'll ask for ID have you sign the back and override the initial scan.
Having said that please note: Disney does not want you to do this. They added the new finger scan to cut down on guests transferring TKTS.
This subject has been debated many times on these boards and I'm not trying to start another one. People have very strong views on both sides. One point of view is: the tkts say non-transferrable for a reason. Rules are not optional. You run the risk of having your tkt confiscated.
Another viewpoint is: If I share unused days with close friends or family, who am I hurting. Disney will make plenty of money off of me this trip. Is this really a such a serious infraction. Many would say YES IT IS!
All I can tell you is I have allowed friends to use unsigned tkts that had unused days with no real problem. They just rescaned the tkt and made them sign the back. Once I was asked when were they last used , but there was no real problem
Again no debate intended.
