Ok I have one that I dont think has been mentioned before and I just realized today how much it comes in handy.
MAKE FRIENDS with your butcher, baker, and candlestick maker

I went in to Fred Meyer today and the Butcher had a bunch of meat that she had marked down and was keeping it in the back for a couple more hours. I asked her if she had any hamburger and she brought out the whole cart full of meat. I bought bacon, a roast, steaks, and hamburger all for half the price!
I went over to the bakery section and looked through the " baked yesterday" tray and found a bag of 24 bagels for 99 CENTS!!

I also know the manager of the health food section, she often gives me samples of lotions etc.

So it pays to be friendly

Check, CHECK, CHECK! Those circulars. While we are "regulars" at Shoprite, this week Pathmark is having TRIPLE coupons and has sales on stuff that we regularly use. So guess where we'll be shopping tonight?

I only shop from the that type of meat rack, and the desert/break/baked goods trays at Shoprite are wonderful.
