Another Tattoo....

DH just got home from getting his second Tattoo

It does show a little bit of blood in a few spots

It is only about 45 minutes old....


Now I have to work up my nerve to get mine

so what do you think of it

I think its beautiful artwork. I am the LAST person in the world anyone would ever think has a tattoo, but I have a bouncing Tigger on my hip. I love it. I waited until I was 30 to get it, but I always wanted one and my DH got a really nice one and I was there with him, and I just started looking at the artwork and I decided to do it. Im so glad I did. I love it. You only see it if Im in my bathing suit and thats just fine with me.

I like it. I think it looks very nice.
My husband has one on his arm there too....he had his put up a little higher than normal though so it wouldn't show in all of his shirts....he's a self-employed business man/realtor/school board member....anyway, we each got one on our 7th wedding anniversary.

I love mine. I got mine on my lower back....but a little lower than the "usual" spot... I have a blue butterfly with a heart around it with some scroll work off the sides and my husbands first initial on one side and mine on the other...I would do it all over again too. If i could only find the right design...and figure out where I want it.

Very nice... Ive been trying to get the nerve up to get a second one.. I have a bashful Tweety Bird on my outside ankle.. Ive been wanting to add some little hearts to it, but havent gotten the nerve yet.. I dont know what I was thinking that day I got this one..

I have a cousin that bought all the stuff to start doing tattoo's last summer. He has been practicing on friends and family and has become very good, very quickly, but it is more of a hobby than something he is going to do all the time.

Well, the pain depends on where you get it. It's worse some spots than others, I'm told.

Mine is on my hip...it was pretty painful. But I made it through it, and I'm glad I did. Plus it got me bragging rights that I did it! I love it, and ever since I started watching Miami Ink I want another one.

I'm there with all the chickens. I know exactly what I want and where I want it,but:
1. My older siblings all got tatoos in their twenties (well, four did) and they look like garbage now. Granted, they all are heavy smokers/drinkers and that could have *something* to do with it.
2. How will I tell my kids they can't have one if I've got one?

So the Stitch wearing the sorcerer hat is not gonna happen anytime soon!

I am a wimp too, how bad does it really hurt on the lower back, b/c that is where I want mine with some scroll work and a little design.

mine is on my lower back and it wasn't too bad..its a butterfly with scroll work and i'll tell ya the worst part was the body of teh butterfly...the body is all black and it felt like she was digging into my spine for about 30-seconds. Otherwise the pain wasn't that bad...i would do it all over again. Kind of like childbirth...yes, it hurts but you forget about the pain just as soon as its done.
