Well had to share in my excitement!!! $$$$$$ is very tight this year but I am trying to give my daughter a terrific Christmas.... so totally looking for bargains!!! and I was just thrilled when I went to Target today Clearance rack shopping - had to get out of the office today... So I shop the end caps looking for clearance items and MAN they were hard to find... but I got the following...

I figured I saved over $15.00 today!!! WOOT WOOT... Her sock is getting full and I am doing it for a bargain on all kinds of things she will LOVE!!! I am so excited!!!! I also do the Elf on a shelf for the month of December so some of the items might come in useful for that!

Good for you. However, what do you mean about the Elf on the shelf and needing presents????? We have an Elf on the Shelf, but I don't know anything about presents that go with it. Please tell me this is something you made up for your house, cause if I have to go get 25 more presents, I am going to be in trouble.

LOL - well our Elf brings some presents but they are silly... Like he will bring my DD's Christmas PJs so she has them to wear on CHristmas Eve (I would buy these and give them to her anyway) or This year one of my ideas is to have "Frankie" Paint her toe Nails Red and Green when shes sleeping so I bought Nail Polish on sale for .50 cents..... I bought two Disney Mini Puzzles at Walgreens and I will have him trying to put them together one nice and have all the pieces mixed up (they were 2 for $1) So they are not really presents but kinda... Mostly he dose silly and naughty things - I mix it up

Oh thank god....I thought I had missed something in the book. My parent's give all the grandkids a candy treat with a poem daily from thanksgiving till Christmas, then they get to open a present a day starting the week before Christmas (we all live within walking distance).

I didn't want to have to do the same here. We went out today to get some of the "filler" presents at fivebelow and RACKED UP on some great stuff for my DD and got a few things for all the boys.

Also, I am a clearance shopper - Check put your local $ store, we found some very surprising things there today - scarves (some looked just like a couple I have seen at Target for around $10) and hat's and gloves. The $ store here had a neat CSI kit, and fingerprint kit in the toy section.

OH and have you ever gotten "snow"??? It would be cool if your elf made foot prints in the living room one night (coming in from a door) I think I saw some at the $ store. That would be funny and cute. Oh how I wish my DD10 had not just found out that Santa is not real, I would have done that myself. However, she did request that "Buddy" still come out on Thanksgiving, but she said he didn't have to move everyday.
