Another switch to Ron Jon

I just submitted a request for a price for a two bedroom villa for April 8, 2005....I'll let you know what kind of rate I get!! :)

Looks like a great place!

Still more Ron Jon questions ;)

1. Do we know if both coupons (#102 & #300) are expired?

2. Ron Jon Resort does not have shuttle service to the port. I am looking for transportation from Ron Jon to Port. I do not want to rent a car. Shirley says Travelynx is an option (thanks for checking, Shirley). Anyone have any experience with Travelynx? Would something like Happy Limo etc be a good choice or way too expensive for such a short ride? There are only two of us. I would like to keep costs down, but am not outruling something like Happy Limo, You Ride, Florida Trans. etc. I just want to be sure I get to the port. Any suggestions welcome. :sunny:

Thanks!

When I inquired about room prices I asked about long term parking and shuttle service. They replied that they have a long term parking area and can arrange shuttle service from a third party to the port. Did not mention the price though.

We are planning on staying there before our Feb. 5, 05 cruise, so if anyone knows if the 300 code (or any other) still works, I'd surely be grateful.

When I called about the shuttle, I was told it's $5 per person each way.

Just got an email from Ron Jon's. They told me for one night for a 2 bedroom villa it would be 202.50 + tax. I replied back and asked about long term parking.

If they have long term parking, we will be staying there. If we had two rooms at the Radisson it would be about the same price.

If they don't have long term, then we are staying at Radisson!

:bounce: Long term Parking at Ron Jon's. :Pinkbounc

We are staying there!

We stayed at the Raddison last year in a one-bedroom suite and it was nice, but next year, we would like to try something different. What are the indoor activities they have to offer?

I also just received an email from Ron Jon. They said the coupon codes (#120 & #300) are not good for 2005 (which is when we are cruising).

I asked them the rates for one studio for two nights. The rate I got was $160 per night.

The only think I worry about with shuttle service from Ron Jon to the port, is that I read one of the shuttle services in the area (can't remember which one) does not start running until noon. I don't want to be that late getting on the ship. We may go with a town car if we can't find an earlier shuttle.

Any recommendations about getting from the airport to Ron Jon's or should I just stay near the airport the night before?

Tink

I see you have 2 coupon codes above, are they both for the same amount of discount 25% off?

Thanks
Joanna

mickeyworld- There are several highly recommend town car services mentioned in various posts on this board that you may want to look into, should you decide to stay near the port.

Hi,

Thanks for all of the info on Ron Jon's. I think we will want to stay there as well. We are looking forward to seeing Kennedy Space Center. This looks like a good place to stay. thanks for the info on the discounts.

I noticed that we are on the same cruise with AURxTiger!

Later!
