Another Swan question...

A big THANK YOU to all those who gave me great info regarding Swan vs POR. But, I have another question... How far is the Swan from MGM, and what is the mode of transportation?...I'm guessing boat. We need to be at World of Sports for at least 2 or 3 days for cheer competitions.

When I called Disney, they said there are 2 places to catch a bus to WOS, MGM (for limited hours 8:30 - 6) or at Downtown Disney. I know that from POR it is only a boat ride to DTD, then catch the direct bus.

Hi!

You can either walk (about 20 min) or take to boat to MGM ('m guess 10 to 15 min) fromthe Swan. From MGM the buses to Wide World run every 24 minutes (that's what we were told) and it takes about 10/15 minutes on the bus.

I did use the bus service to go to WW to see a baseball game last week. The bus service worked well. If you're going to be using this method more then once I'd ask the bus driver for a time schedule so that you can adjust your traveling times accordingly.

I wouldn't be concerned about using Disney Transportation to WW - it's not well talked about but we've always found it to work very well.
