It has been a few years since we were at WDW and we are planning on doing the double stroller rental pass for our trip. Had heard that strollers were replaced in the parks over the past few years, wondering if they have changed since our last visit in 2002. My question is about storage...is there any underneath storage or any way to hang a backpack from the handles (any type of hooks). Also would the "S" hooks that are sold in baby stores to put into your stroller work here? Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

From what I can recall from our visit to MK in Feb '05, no basket underneath and no hooks on the handle. There were some small mesh storage pockets behind each seat, but I don't think they would be big enough to store a backpack in. Good luck! ::MinnieMo

I would think hanging the backpack on an empty stroller would make it flip backwards. You may get away with putting the backpack on the top shade if it's not too heavy.

No basket, though I do recall at AK, a very small mesh bag on the back that would hold about a fanny pack size.

Though you did not ask for my opinion, I personally never understood stroller rental. We did it once, when we thought DD was old enough not to need it and turned out we were wrong. If a child needs a stroller and has had a long day in the park there is nothing worse than carrying them (maybe sleeping) to the monorail/bus stop and than all the way to the room. Some of the resort bus stops can be pretty far from your room
