Can u rent a double stroller at DL and what does it cost?

I have yet to see a double stroller available at DLR. Only the single ones.

Honestly the doubles WDW has don't look comfortable. More like a wide hard bench with a canopy. Not somewhere the kids would want to relax or sleep.

Are you staying at a hotel/motel nearby? You can set up stroller rental with an outside company. We set it up through PPH (they handled it all) and got a great stroller for $7 that we could take anywhere, instead of the park ones that are $15 a day and can't leave the parks.

They will deliver and pick up to your hotel. This came on a recommendation from another friend who had used them as well. We had a great experience, and loved the stroller!

What happens if you rent from them and (fingers crossed it doesn't happen) it gets stolen while you are in the park? Are you liable for the replacement cost?
Thinking about renting a double stroller for our trip in May - my kids will be 5 and 9 but I know they will both be tired from all the walking and would fight over who gets to sit in the stroller if we rent a single one from DL.

I honestly can't speak for the "what happens of my stroller that I rented gets stolen" questions because it's never happen to us. But we have used stroller rental companies before and gotten the nice "bob" stroller and never had them stolen. We have been going for years and never had a stroller stolen.

I worried about that quite a bit, but don't actually know what would've happened if it got stolen. Probably should've researched it more. But we went, and had no stroller stealing issues, so all was good

I think there is an insurance you can opt in for....not sure with this specific company. BUT none of the strollers are big enough to hold a 9 year old.

You haven't met my 9 year old! lol!
She was a preemie (born at 1 pound 10 ounces) and is still very small for her age - - she is only 46" tall and weighs in at about 50 pounds. My 5 year old on the other hand, was 9 pounds at birth and is 43" tall and also about 50 pounds!

We're renting a double from City Stroller Rentals. $25 for insurance for the week, which is a little bit high, but way better than having to pay to replace/repair a stroller, IMO. They deliver to and pick up from your hotel.
