Is there anything I need to bring to make the Disney strollers more comfy for my 4 1/2 year old? She is very highmaintance princess: and has to have a squish pillow and blanket in her car seat. Knowing this do you think she will be comfortable in the Disney strollers? Bring our own is not an option since she is over the weight limit for most. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Oh, and can anyone post a picture (or let me know where to find a picture) of the strollers. We were just there in November, but brought our own at the time and I never even noticed what they looked like! Thanks! :)

It doesn't sound like she will be comfortable in the Disney Strollers if she is high maintenance. We always bring our own and the only time we used it was for our 7yo this trip on the last day when he was worn out. They look SO uncomfortable !!

Thanks for all of the info. My DD weighs 45 lbs. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a stroller we will only use at Disney. But I don't think she will be able to handle the Disney strollers (except at MGM) now that I have seen the pictures. (thanks for the link, BTW) Anyway, I will continue to think it out, I still have a few months anyway, I just like to have everything planned out way ahead!

Well, depending on how many days you are in the park (at $10 per day), it could be cheaper to buy a Volo than to rent. Smartbargains.com has some Volos (only 4 left right now) for $60-something shipped and Currentcodes.com lists coupon codes for 12% off for new customers and $5 off a $50 purchase. Or you can get one from Ebay for around $50 shipped. But, this is the older style, without a sun canopy and without a seat pad so it is not as comfy as the 2005 model, which costs about $30 more. You could always sell the stroller after you use it or donate it and write it off. Is she uncomfortable in your old stroller? Even if she exceeds the weight limit, at 45 lbs it is probably not unsafe for short term, temporary use.

I agree that it sounds like it would be best for your high maintanence princesses (I got one too girl) to bring your own.

You can find some great deals at local super stores like WallyWorld and Big Lots if you don't want to invest in one of the nicer ones. I know our DD4 only uses a stroller at WDW so it didn't make a lot of sense to buy a $100 stroller.

Good luck...you've got plenty of time to check out your options!
