We have a full size stroller, umbrella, and fold up portable (not umbrella though).

The problem? full size really big, umbrella and fold up do not recline.

Now, do you all think I should buy another stroller (dh is reluctant seeing we already have 3), or rent one. We will be in WDW twice this year.

If you think I should buy one, which one? I would really like to keep it under $100. (so I can justify it to DH. "It's still about the same $ as renting twice dear")

I saw a thread about one on the Target website, but not sure it will be tall enough for DH. He is about 6'. He hates the umbrella because he has to lean over to push it.

So, reclining and height are issues as well as portable and under $100. any suggestions? I know I'm asking alot. Thanks for any and all input.

ps. snyde remarks and jokes welcome at this point.lol

How old is the child riding in the stroller?

I'd probably look for a clearance Maclaren Triumph or Quest. The Quest is a couple pounds heavier, but has a few more features and costs a little more. I found the Triumph for $119 at albee-baby (I can PM you the link if you want or you should find it with a google search). I think you can pick one up on ebay for a competitive price as well. I have a Triumph that I love. It has excellent steering, folds super small and has a carry strap. The strap is great for Disney transportation. Plus it retains most of its value, so it is a great item for ebay or craigslist. If you resell it, it'll probably end up costing you less overall than a cheaper umbrella that you'll toss when you're finished. At least that is my 2 cents worth.

I would also say Maclaren. We have the volo where the seat is sorta slinglike so it does not recline and it is wonderful. Would have gotten the triumph or quest if Dd was younger. How old is your child? Maclarens go up to weight limit of 55 pounds and the canopys seem taller and seats a bit wider than ordinary umbrella or lightweight strollers so older kids really can continue to use it if necessary. I am 5'9 and Dh 6 ft and it is a great height for us. I wish I had one during all of DD's baby and toddlerhood.

DD will be apprx 2yo -25lbs.

Thanks for all the good info. Please keep it coming.

When we took our first WDW trip, youngest dd was 2 1/2 - she didn't need a reclining stroller to nap at the parks, a regular umbrella one was fine. Why spend more money when you already have three strollers? Save the money, you'll need it at WDW!

I used a Chicco Caddy but got tired of hunching over to push it and kicking the wheels. After several reviews on here I decided to splurge and got a Mac Quest. Wish I had bought it the first time! Is is pricey, but now with another one on the way I will get my moneys worth out of it (I dont plan on using the travel system now). The handles are tall and padded, it pushes with one hand easily, and I dont have to hunch over or kick the wheels. It has several recline positions which my almost 3 yr used at WDW (the only time he uses the stroller anymore), and the sunshade can flip down and cover his head while he naps, which he really liked when he needed a break. The weight limit I believe is 55 lbs, and the seat is a bit wider than other strollers. My only complaint is that the basket is a bit tough to access (I also have the Mac mesh bag that attaches to the handles which I use more often). It can be a bit tricky to fold up too if youre not used to doing it all the time. I held up a bus until the driver told me to get on and fold it inside. So another vote for Mac Quest!

For our trip, we bought a Maclaren Triumph for a little over $100. Our son is about 15 months old and about 25lbs. The seat reclines enough that he will be able to sleep (should that miracle occur), and it has a decent (though not large) understroller basket. It also folds up extremely small and is very very light. It has a carrying strap, too, which will help on the busses.

I know it seems silly to have so many strollers, but we made the mistake of bringing our big stroller to New York with us last June, and I haven't stopped regretting it. We wound up buying a cheapy $30 umbrella stroller that was too short and miserable to push.

Anyway! Not going to make that mistake again, and I think that $100 isn't too much to spend if it will help avoid frustration and whatnot.

Thank you to everyone. We ended up getting a Mac. got a Really good deal on it thru Albeebaby. Thanks for all the suggestions on the strollers & for the Albee web site. It was great. We did consider all the suggestions. We tried to find stores that carried the different types suggested, but found it hard to find some of them, like the Inseg. & Mac Triumph. Our local Babies R Us didn't have either of those.
I just really wanted to thank everyone. You were all very helpful. :)

Because I am nosy that way... Which Mac?

The Mac Techno. I do love it, however DH is missing a cup holder. Any suggestions?

I've used the Mac organizer and a skip hop diaper bag (also adds storage). A quick link to the skip hop bag is:
www.skiphop.com

you can find the organizer at
www.maclarenbaby.com
However, it only holds small cups/bottles.

I think others have had luck with the clip on kind, but I'm not familiar with them.

We have had good luckwith this one for our volo.

You can find them in babies r us as well
The Maclaren organizer really only holds skinny bottles. The Brita size bottlesdont fit. And with my packpack or baby bag which I put on the back of the stroller it is hard to get in the pocket. I have heard of good things re: skip hop but for the price I just go with my cup holder (or 2 if DH is with me, one on each side) and backpack.
