Another stroller question...

After reading everybody's reviews of the City Mini Doubles. I decided to leave my Sit n' Stand at home!! I ended up having to replace it after my last Disney trip b/c it was a bit banged up and my son stepped on basket in bottom and broke it! (I bought the replacement plan) Plus, we had an awful experience getting stuck in the rain!
Anyways-- just a few questions for those of you who used stroller companies to rent. When do you reserve them? Like how far in advance. Also, is there a difference b/w the Regular City Mini and the City Mini GT. Which do you prefer? And Are they really "easy to fold?"

Very easy to fold... Main difference between the mini and the gt is gr has air tires, slightly larger wheels, an a bit roomier if you have big kids. All of which adds some but not a lot of size to the gt. baby gizmo . Com has a great video comparison! Never rented them so can't offer help there.

The GT is more of an all-terrain stroller, with IMO, you don't need at disney- esp if you are dealing with in/out of busses, etc- you want the lighter one (the regular city mini).

We rented a city mini double + ride on board for my 2.5yo twins + 5yo sons. My 5yo is quite large and even he passed out in the city mini double every single day in the parks! Sure, he was squished- but he didn't care- he was pooped out

i would reserve as soon as you have all your flights/hotel reservations- no sense in waiting, esp since busy times they will get booked up.
