Ok we bough this http://www.livingincomfort.com/images/jewaliultast_pic.jpg stroller off ebay about 4 months ago when we first found out we were going to disney, we only paid $50 shipped to us so we didnt' pass it up. But i keep reading about people wanting small strollers, ect. and this is far from small at all!!! But we have 3 small kids that will rotate in and out of it all day prolly, ds5, dd3, dd2 months (when we go). dd2 still isn't walking and i'm starting to think she may not be in the next 8 weeks but no biggy i have a lot of baby carriers that can go on my back that i'm very comfy with using when ds gets tired and needs to rest in the stroller. But is it going to be a pain to have to fold this up very often??? Only time i remember "having" to fold up last time we went (March 2004 w/ ds who was almost 4 and dd1 was 20 months, i was pregant) was went we took the trams to the car... and this time we are getting AAA parking... so will i need the trams???
Thanks!

Explain the ages again and who isn't walking. I think I'm confused, but here's what I did when I went with DD4, DD2, and DS 10 months. Bring a single for the infant and rent a double for the two older children.

Do you hava an infant and a non-walking toddler? Then I might bring a double (combis are super compact) and rent a single for the older child.

Ok sorry i had a typo above... we have a 5 y/o son, a 3 y/o dd, and a 12 month old when we leave and not sure if she'll be walking or not by then. there is no way we want to do 2 strollers... i would rather carry my 12 month old in a carrier the whole day then push 2 strollers around...
I'm just wondering if there will be 'that' many instances when we have to fold it up?

We have a 5 year old, 3 year old, and 9 month old so I am in the same boat as you are. I *think* we have decided to bring a full size single stoller for the baby and will rent a double for my older two.

A couple of things to consider. Will your 5 yr old and 3 yr old fit in the double you have? Mine are over the weight limit by far and my 3 yr old would barely fit his legs in. They are tall for their age, but I wouldn't think most 5 year olds would fit in the double you have. Also, if they do fit, have you tried pushing them around for any length of time in that stroller? I know that my arms got tired really fast when I tried my two in it. I am sort of a weakling though :rotfl: .

Also, if it is hot, would you still be ok carrying your 12 month old in a carrier? I tried our front carrier with my son when he was 13.5 months in disney but we both got too hot and after the first day my back was breaking. I've never tried a back carrier so I can't say if that would have worked. Plus using the carrier left him directly in the sun all of the time. He wouldn't keep his hat on and then complained about the sun being too bright. At least in the stroller they have some shade.

I'm not saying that your plan won't work for you, since everyone has different preferences. I just wanted to make sure you have thought of all your options. It is always such a dilemma trying to decide on the stroller situation. This is how I've ended up owning 6 strollers :rotfl2: !

thanks for the thoughs... the weight limit is only about OK, just about 5 over with the two older kids in it... ds is 45lbs and dd is 30lbs so that it's 75 limit is 70... does it really matter that much? i'm guessing they aren't going to be in it together 'that' often. DS is use to walking we walk about 7 blocks (1 way) to the libary 2 times a week and to the icecream shops 10 blocks away and never compains about walking at all. also when we got to malls/ shoping centers, ect he never compains at all. I know this isn't much of the compairison to the possible 5-10 miles we might walk in one day... but a start... he also deosn't wonder at all so i'm not worried about that either.

As for the carrier... i've bene carring allison in a back carrier or a sling every day of her life since she was born.. I wore her to the childrens museaum a full day, to a LLL conferance for 2 days with no stroller at either event. we never got tired nor did i get a back ache at all. I'm guessing you were use a snuggle/baby bojorn carrier??? Thoes are HELL on your back and really bad on baby's spine too. we use this type of carrier.. www.kozycarrier.com it's great no stress points at all. Plus dd will wear sun glasses and a hat with out compaining now when she's 12 months old.... So i'm trying to figure out how many times will i need to actully fold up this honken stroller. I love it b/c it's got all the storage space on the bottem basket and with us going with our family and another with a 10 y/o and a 8y/o we need lots of space to store stuff!!! :)

To address your stroller question, we never folded our up except on the buses. We only used the tram once or twice (and we must have folded it then too I guess) and walked from our car or the monorail. When we parked the stroller, we just left it open. It might be a pain those few times you need to squeeze it in, but my guess is they will be pretty rare. Most of the time we just wheeled it in where we wanted to go. Hope this helps, JJ

P.S. I have a Kozy too and love it!

I remember folding up strollers to board the buses (a PITA) and getting on the train at MK. I am considering buying yet another stroller just for our trip in August. I have an umbrella and a larger PEG PEREGO - neither seem to fit the bill. PEG is too large when folded and umbrella does not have a basket. Unfortuanelty, I think I will have to get a more expensive compact or suck it up with the umbrella.

thanks for the tips, i don't think it will be that big of a deal to have to fold it up then! to the MK we will prolly take the boat so no need to fold it up! :) I just dont' want to have to push two strollers around... but maybe i will start taking my double down to a walking path at the park daily and get ds use to walking and the girls more use to riding, b/c dd2 hates the stroller unless it's MOVING, if it stops she wants up in my arms or sling right away. and plus the sling will help out so so much while waiting in lines, ect!
Thanks for all the help!
