Another solider comes home & We'll be at DW in March

I've been lurking and posting here and there, but not much to say, trying to trudge along day to day and find the light at the end of the tunnel. You see, my hubby has been on a year rotation to Iraq and finally we're getting to the end. I've been watching ya'lls posts and the reminders of Disney have been in part what has been getting not only me but my soldier in Iraq through. Thanks for being the shining light in our world. I received an email today (although my hubby has been telling me this for weeks~somehow when the Army starts to acknowledge things it seems this much more real) looks like he could be home a month or so from today. YIPEE!!!
The children have DS 14 & DD 9 have spring break the week of March 28. We are planning our TREK to DW with our newly returned soldier. We are staying at FWC as we did last time. We enjoyed the time together and look forward to going again. So to summerize why, I am writing???
#1. We're going to Disney the end of March, March 24-April 3, My birthday is the 2nd! YIPEE
#2. To say thanks to all of you as many of you had sent a postcard to him while he was gone.
#3. To say thanks for all the posts to keep Disney alive in our hearts.

Oh my, such wonderful wonderful news! I am sitting at my desk crying for you (happy tears of course). I can't imagine anything happier than knowing my solider is coming home. Have a fabulous time! Where are you staying?

We'll be staying at Ft. Wilderness Campground. We are so excited. My hubby has made a slide show out of old Dis Cruise photos and our previous trips, he has dubbed in Dis music and would watch it almost daily for his piece of mind time. We are Dis adicts! But we are happy Dis adicts!

Aww, I love Ft. Wilderness. That's where we always stayed when I was growing up (my parents have an RV). Now my husband I stay in the hotels. That is so awesome that your DH has had his little bit of Disney with him over in Iraq. Are the Disney cruises fun? We've never been on a cruise before and are thinking about going on a Dis cruise next year.

The Dis Cruise is awesome, we've been 3 consecutive years! It was worth every penny of debt!!! It was truly a first class, magical experience and we cried every time as we left the ship. I would highly recommend the Magic. Someday, we hope to go back to back cruises, then we'd be on board for 14 day!

That is great news. My kids and I have been in your shoes, and know how excited you are for that great day when he arrives. My husband has been home from his deployment for a while now, but we are taking our first real family vacation in April since he has been home (long overdue for him). I am so very happy for you as you await the return of your husband from Iraq. Our family just wanted to thank you and your family for the sacrifices you have made for our country as you have endured this long family separation. What a great way to spend your reunion than a wonderful trip. On May 13th my husband retires after 20 years of service and we have endured the family separations as well... I certainly can appreicate the strength you have provided him and your family. I hope your vacation is just as magical as his return... we are sending along some pixie dust....
