Another Snow Day in Peel! WOW!

Hi All ~ I can't believe it! Another Snow Day! My house is a mess and I have company coming tomorrow....but I'm too tired to do anything. I think I'll have a cup of tea and a nap. See you! Sandra

I'm kind of glad as DD has a project to do and doesn't have a lot of time to do it so I told her this was a gift and take advantage of it.
DH went to work and said it really isn't too bad out there if you take it slow......

Wow! They cancelled busses here, but schools are still open. We live less than 500 m from the school, so we'll be making the trip out. I'd really rather just stay put with the kids.

Is it just me, or has this winter been worse than most? Thank goodness we have a March Break trip planned. By the time we get back, winter *should* be almost over.

my 13yo ds' and I just came in from snow blowing the driveway - thank goodness we have a blower b/c it's heavy!!

He gets a snow day b/c he's bussed - all Upper grand busses are cancelled today but schools are open. Since we back onto the school my older ds' will help me out by walking all the older kids so the younger daycare kids can stay home with me! I love having him home - lots of jobs planned for him for today!!

Here in Barrie it's yukky, but we are flying out of Pearson at 6:30 tomorrow morning, I am taking the kids out of school at noon today and heading down to Mississauga to stay at friends tonight, just incase!

Hi from Paris. Another snow day here too, and I here another storm is coming tonight. DD19 is on the Disney Cruise right now, 80'weather

I just finished my 4 hour nap! Now I'm having a cup of tea. I'll have a bit of lunch and then clean the house. Treadmill 3-4km and make a nice dinner. I love my job at school, but it's nice having a day off midweek too! Sandra

I'm in Peel also. DD 9 is thinks it's great. 2nd snow day in less than a week. already 15 cm's have fallen since mid-night along with some freezing rain.

DD 13 is Quebec City on a school trip.

Not snowing right now but they weather gods are forecasting another 10-15cm this afternoon and evening.

We're in Peel too and my kids didn't believe me when I told them that they had another snow day! My DS15 actually watched CityTV to confirm that he had the day off!

They might not be as happy when they go out to shovel the snow because it was pretty heavy when I left for work!

Well and by the looks of the weather network it could very well be another one tomorrow.... holy moly Jack frost is making up for our too easy winter!!

Supposed to be ice pellets all afternoon then around 4pm the heavy snow is supposed to hit dropping another 20 to 25cm on Guelph!!

Let's hope that groundhog was right and we have an early spring!!!
