Another Skype question- Skype cell to cell internationally.

I just got a new phone (Droid ) and it has Skype capability. If my son, who lives in Germany, has Skype on his cell can we use it to call each other cell to cell phone for free or would one of us have to be on the computer?

If both phones have wireless access and Skype installed, you can call just as it is computer to computer. You are not using the phone at all, so you need the access to the internet. It works on iphones. You can call from your droid's skype to his computer if he doesn't have a capable phone.
