We have been on two cruises in April, Eastern Caribbean. We leave March 26th for the Western Caribbean. We have never had to take any seasick meds.

Should be take something the morning of the beginning of our cruise or if we start feeling sick can we take the medicine then?

Thanks
Kathy

Hi there,
My 1st instinct, would be to say if you haven't been sick before, let it ride, and see how you feel! But if you are worried, you can either take something 2 hours before you sail, or do what we did. We bought sea-bands, and didn't take them off until we docked the final morning. We felt good and I didn't want to chance it! The captain sent us to Guest Services to get Sea Calm the night it was very rough(11-14 ft waves side to side). This helped quickly, and non-drowsy if you only took1 tablet, I took 2 the first night and was asleep within 2 hours(didn't read the directions)but I felt great within 10 minutes of taking them. Just know that if you don't take them prior to feeling yuck, they will work, so you could just take a chance.
Good luck, and have a great cruise!
Kathy
