We are a family of 4 with a reservation for 7 nights at All Star Movies for the end of Feb. My girls are 10 & 13 and are considered adults at Disney. Can we still get the S/P/D discount if we are all adults on the reservation? Do you have to have a child on your reservation to get the discount?

No. You do not need a child to apply SPD.

Thanks. I didn't think you did but I was reading something on another thread that made me question. Hoping for a great discount soon!

We are 2 adults and want the Deluxe dining, how would the pricing work? Would it be child dining price PLUS the difference between regular plan and deluxe plan, or would it be the straight child deluxe plan.

if you're staying in a mod it would be the child price of 18.88 plus the difference of the adult DDP and the DLXDP which is 46.28. Total would be 65.16 per adult

So what if adults wanted the QSDP? What is the cost under S/P/D?

If you stayed at a value resort it would be the child price 15.75 per person per night for the QSDP

If staying in a moderate you would get the DDP. You can't downgrade to the QSDP.

Stupid question, but can you really NOT downgrade to QSDP if staying at mod for s/p/d and why? I didn't know that.

Nope, you can't. It's just not offered as part of the promotion. You could out the QSDP on a room only discount at a mod. Or you can use TS credits at QS locations if you need to.

I believe they used to allow it, but stopped maybe last year or this year.

Thanks for the info. Could you also tell me how TS credits convert to QS? Or is it just one for one?

Wait, so they don't allow you to use a TS credit at a QS place any more? Or they do and it's one TS = one QS?

I didn't think they allowed that unless you couldn't make resides ie during free dining and it was too busy. . But if aaarcher86 says it's so than it must be true.

When we did it in 2005 it was one for one.

You can still use a TS as a QS if you need to. It doesn't need to be specially converted. Just go to a location and they'll take off a credit once your QS credits are gone.

Converting a QS credit to snacks is iffy lately and seems to get the most success in resort food courts.

ETA: lmao Mad. You're nuts :P

Hey you're in the know. lmao

My sister has a Disney Visa and booked her S/P/D package last night. It is her, her husband, and 3 boys ages 9, 7, & 2. Which gives them 2 adults and 2 kids on their package since the baby is free.

My family consists of myself, my husband, and our 2 girls ages 13 & 10. Which gives us 4 adults on our package. I do not have the Disney Visa and I am waiting for the general public offer.

Here is my question: Would our packages be the same cost with the S/P/D discount? If everyone is receiving kids pricing would that make 4 kids pricing on my sister's package and 4 kids pricing on my package?

Just curious.....

Yes, as long as you are going during the exact same dates, same type of park ticket, and the same resort. Good luck with everything ;-)
