ive been watching the app the last few days and rsr wait times have been much shorter. Now I know it's not as busy as when I will be there, next Friday the 18th so I can see that. I also see new ride reopened so I'm assuming that's also helping. I'm now wondering if I'm there at rd at 8(ca has ee at 7)do I have a shot of riding and fp?

I'd get fast passes when the FP line slows down - honestly unless you want to ride it and have time to pull another fast pass after your first ride, there is NO need to line up for Fast passes. I'd say though if the park is open for EMH that day, then the line will be long by rope drop at 8.

However, considering you are going to be there in the peak of spring break and it's the 60th celebration who knows how busy those lines will be - but waiting in the stand by line for RSR is a waste of time in my opinion as well.

If you make RSR your first stop of the day and it's not DCA's EMH, you'll probably be able to get on without much wait. And depending what day it is, you'll probably be able to get a FP too. I *will* say though that if you were looking at wait times for Friday, the lines were really short because it was pouring rain and the ride is partially outside. Crowds were lower yesterday in general because of the rain - so I wouldn't draw a conclusion from yesterday's wait time, to be honest. I only go to DCA on weekdays and RSR's lines are always between 45 - 100 minutes, and that's not even the weekend. I wouldn't assume the lines are going to be short, especially during spring break season.
