...not knowing how to balance your drink and your baby...but at least the drink was safe.

Folks, all I can say is that when my son was six weeks old, I slipped and fell down a flight of stairs, while carrying him in my arms. However, I chose to hang on to my child, not try to break my fall. I was bruised up, but the baby was fine.
Slipping and falling can happen to anyone. But when you have a baby in one hand and a drink in the other - and the baby falls, and you hang on to the drink - that's beyond "not being perfect", that's a reckless disregard for your baby's safety.

There was one time when I slipped on our hardwood floor while carrying ds. As I lost my balance, I dropped him.
