Has anyone used priceline for car rental? What is the good and the bad of it? We are going to be down on Nov 25th-30th and so far rates are going to be around $200--and actually higher than that.

And what is the website again so I can check out what rates are going for? Do you pick the rental company or just the type of car?

You can only pick the car size (compact, mid-size, full-size, etc.) and not the company. We've used Priceline for rental cars several times in the past in MCO and have always had good luck. We are renting around the same time as you (11/25 - 12/9 -- 2 weeks) and have a reservation for a mid-size through Thrifty for $244, all taxes and fees included for both weeks. I've been trying Priceline to see if I can get a full-size for the same price (which averages out to $12 a day plus fees) but have been shot down each time. Not a problem, as I already have a reservation but it's like a game to me to see how low I can get the rate. I'll keep trying and post if I'm successful.
