another rental option

I just spoke with them. They are a new company, so of course all their equipment is new.

Their rates are basically the same as Walker, plus a one-time $10.00 fee which covers both delivery and pickup. They will drop off the night before to allow early morning access, and pick up after departure.

Currently there are two shortcomings:

(1) They do not yet have any heavy-duty scooters but expect to get some early in the year.

(2) Other than the seat coming off and the tiller folding down there is one large piece weighing about 100 pounds. It will fit in a large car (Ford Taurus). It is possible to separate out the battery, but not easy. Even so, there would be much heavier pieces than the 39 pound wheel/motor assembly.

For someone who will be using strictly Disney Transporation and not a car it appears to be a reasonable alternative.

Travelitis, thanks for the new information. Cheshire Figment, thanks for already looking in to the new company & letting us know the pros & cons. Reminds me I need to call Walker!

Thanks for the info. I'll add them to my resource list (including Cheshire Figment's list of shortcomings).
