Another Relay Question

I am the first leg of the upcoming relay. Since my finish is at the TTC, will I be able to walk back to the Polynesian to shower/change and then take the monorail to Epcot to meet up with my partner as she finishes? Her time will be approximately 2:10.

The monorail lines can become very long, returning to Epcot. I would guess you would be on the edge.

Someone on here (coach, maybe) said the other day not to take the monorail to Epcot but to take the shuttle bus bc the monorail gets very backed up!

I am all over the monorail and not the bus. From a historical perspective, I remember buses backing up for what seemed like hours after the old course half marathon.

I would think that you will have time to get back to Epcot to see your friend, but not so sure about the shower. A definite change of clothes and a really quick shoer, but expect 3-4 trains so that would be at least an hour to get from TTC to Epcot.

Thanks Coach! I must have been confused about the recommendation the other day. I will let DH know to take the monorail as well!
