Today's question came to me when I read about Richard Hatch from Survivor and his tax evasion woes. On the show Survivor, they allow you one luxury item that you can bring with you. It can't be something that would actually help you survive.

OK, well all I have to say is I must be a princess ...I have too many "luxuries" that I "need". I mean hairbrush vs toothbrush vs chapstick vs Tylenol? Well, if my next Mickey Cruise strands me , it better be an island deserted with a CVS pharmacy or something...

Although stranded on Castaway Cay sounds pretty good right now...I take that back, it sound good ANY TIME!!!!!!

Well, I couldn't decide... being that my little gang of kids today is fighting non-stop.. I'd be going willingly so I wouldn't need any thing! However, being that I won't camp.. (horrible experience has a child)... I wouldn't know what to do without running water, electricity and my curling iron!!!!

Ok, sorry to run.. but my oldest stepson is playing in a tournament this weekend and DH is on his way to pick the rest of us up (the younger ones wanted to sleep in) so we are headed out to see his games. They have won 2 games already today against much bigger schools according to how our state separates them (by enrollment).. we are a 3A and we have beaten two 5A schools.

So, we are headed out the door so we have more cheerleaders for him! I told the kids to get ready...and they all came out in their jerseys! I'm bringing the back up team!

Hands down no doubt a razor girl here!

nothing else for me was necessary, i can read a novel in a day and i can never read the same one 2xs and magazines, i breeze through like no tomorrow.

I've been blessed with skin that NEVEr burns (i mean that!! i used to work in ANimal Kingdom outside and never a burn!!) so no sunscreen.

i pretty much figured what to do without everything BUT the razor

Where are the scrapbook supplies?!?!?! Can't I bring those!! Think of all the LO's you could get done with peace & quiet~~ Deserted island here I come!!! (I'd have to have my toothbrush too!!)

Would have said MP3 player (iPod) but even Apple hasn't developed a solar recharger...at least not that I know of. Then, there is also the whole thing about ear buds not fitting

I would go with books....as long as I get to pick them. I can read certain books repeatedly for as many times as I can.

Sadly enough, the stranded scenario is actually a dream I have...and even have my DW convinced this is a great thing too

Ummm, I'd want bug spray. I don't know if there's mosquitoes on said island, but if there is, I want bug spray. If I can't have, or don't need, that, it would have to be a toothbrush. How does one live without a toothbrush????
