Another reason to cancel the unneed room checks

There is no reason to continue room checks. Anyone wanting to hide something as a guest can easily do so and will likely know about the room checks.

The recent catching of housekeeping theft points out why it's better to have the option to put on a dnd sign and not have housekeeping mess with your room.

Agreed but I'm sure Disney is afraid of the lawsuits that will follow any incident. If it's found that stuff was stockpiled in a room and could have been found with just the least amount of due diligence on Disney's part, they will be sued to oblivion.

But these were housekeepers tasked with cleaning the room. While it doesn’t matter to me if they stop, this could still happen without daily checks.
