I'm going to my 3rd wake in less than a year for some one under 16. Back in May a kid in my grade died from Leukemia. December a girl died from a cancer I don't remember the name of. Then Wednesday night my 8th grade history teacher's daughter, who's first birthday is on Monday, died. He now teaches at my high school and is the head hockey coach. It's horrible. Last year 2 people from each of my district's high schools died and a little boy from my old elementary school. Why does this have to happen?

There has been so much death in my area/province this year it's kind of crazy. A graduate of 2007 killed himself on Canada day, then less than a month later a girl got hit by a drunk driver. Later on, like first week of school 4 more boys were killed in a crash. Sadly, one of them had been the girls boyfriend.
And not so long ago there was a terrible crash in Bathurst that killed 7 people.

It was really horrible when it happened. The guy driving the car lost his wife, and his entire team.
They were actually coming from my city, back to Bathurst. We had a couple of memory things going on at my school, but I was sick both days.
It was in the news constantly when it happened. Their funerals (which I cried watching), the information about the van.. it just went on and on.

I think i'm going to see a movie tonight.. but I don't know if I should see Jumper or Definitely Maybe?

Well.. what was really scary for me was the VA tech shootings (..I live in VA) but NO WHERE near VA tech..but still. My camp counslers BEST friend was one of the ones who died and she had a memorial shirt of her. It STILL makes me sad. When will it not?

Death is sad, but its all a part of life.

Jumper is the movie with Samuel L. Jackson, Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson. About some guy who can teleport. It sounds stupid to me, but I don't think I can convince my friend to go see Definitely, Maybe.
