Another quick question about ADRs

Used my phone to book ADRs this morning. Asked how many people for reservation and chose 3 as DH, myself and DD (8). Never gave option of detailing who was in the party / ages etc

Just checked online (on iPad) and bookings are for 3 adults. Doesn't seem to be a way to alter the booking to reflect one of the party is a child. Is this correct or is there something I need to do to change the booking to make this apparent? The update / change option only allows me to notify my DH of the booking (as for over 18s only).

First time to Disneh World and hoping I've done it right!

it's fine as long as none of your Adrs are for prepaid meals. They would have to reimburse you the difference between child vs adult prices.

I’m on the Disney Dining standard plan so already these prepaid meals - would that mean they’d charge me extra then have to reimburse?

You shouldn't have a problem with the DDP. They should see 2 a/1 c in your credits and charge appropriately. Check your receipt at the end of the meal. This is assuming you have the regular DDP and not the deluxe. With the deluxe all credits are pooled any way so it doesn't really matter.

I'm not sure about the app but you can change the ages online. I did it when my reservations showed 6 adults and not 5 and 1 child.

It would only affect you negatively if you had reservations for any prepaid meals or dinner shows that you had prepaid for out of pocket (CRT,HDDR, etc) since you state you have the dining plan, you haven't prepaid and your credits are only used at the time of the meal - at which point your server would note that one of your party is a child and redeem the appropriate child credit(s) not the adult credit(s). Either way - if there was a problem it can be adjusted at the restaurant or at Guest Services at your resort. So - don't worry! Enjoy!
