When we are down at OKW in August, we want to invite some friends who recently moved to Florida, over for dinner in our villa. Do we have to get a visitors pass for them to come in and park?

I have had locals come and visit me at OKW and BCVs and all they had to do was tell the guard at the shack and they were waved in. On this past Saturday, one guard told one of my guests to "drive slowly so I can get your license plate".

I was wondering if they would be allowed to park or if they would be given a time limit for parking as we are when we go to another resort for dinner.

They were not issued a parking permit or told of any time restriction (OKW/BCVs). However, this is NOT true at the Poly. We went to the Kona Kafe on Friday and got a 4 hour parking pass there.

I don't really think they check for parking permits in OKW lots. Its not really a place you can park and grab some cool transportation to the parks....they probably don't even check overnight parking, The last time we were there, we had two cars and I never got a parking permit. They let me in at the gate with a flash of my room key and I parked all night.

I don't think there will be any problem at all.

Its not like its one of the 'good' resorts where parking is at a premium.

LOL, Rich! We often have guests with us and they always need a parking pass also if there are two cars to the unit. I just wondered if day visitors needed one as well. I think I will just give the guard the info, and let him take it from there.
