I am thinking about doing an illumnations cruise one evening with my mom. I think it would be easier for her than trying to find a place to see, etc. . . Anybody done this? Anybody know if they are accessible? Any advice is appreciated!

I do believe the Illuminations Cruise is accessible. The reservations people would probably know, if you call them... I will ask around.

Teri,

I just wanted to say that it is very kind of you (and everybody else here) to jump in so frequently. My dad had both legs amputated (military injury), and I never understood why he wouldn't travel. That was before the big swing toward ADA. He couldn't even go to the post office. But since he died when I was 12, I was too young to think of these things. I just knew that my sister and I were his legs. . . Well, I'm 27 now, and for the last 5 years, my mom has been completely speech impaired and partially paralyzed. She is completely wheelchair bound. I now REALLY understand how hard it is. I figure if I plan obsessively, I can make this vacation a breeze for her. . . Thanks for helping me do that.

We're glad to help.
A lot of times, the difference between accessible and not accessible are very small. And sometimes there are things that are pretty acccesible (like WDW), but people are afraid to go there. That's what we're here for.
