I know you can't have liquids but can you have pills that aren't prescriptions like tylenol?

I just found the bottle of tylenol I keep in my backpack when cleaning it out to pack and would like to keep it there in case one of us gets a headache or something.

I'm pretty sure you can if it's kept in it's original bottle/package - but best refer to the TSA website for specific info

A bottle of aspirin is fine.

as long as it isn't a liquid. they really don't care (at least in my experience) but don't take an empty bottle, which I learned the hard way!!!!

There are zero domestic regulations that prevent you from taking pills as carry-on, with or without the original bottles. When we travel we have a little Coach Pill carrier that has three plastic vials that we fill with various OTC medicines (ie. Advil, Sudafed, Ginger, etc.)
