Thanks in part to the help I've received here, I'm getting closer to having my first family trip to the UK planned.
I think I've finally found a nice place for four of the six of us to stay in London. We'll be (if nothing else goes wrong) at the Allen House at 8 Allen St in Kensington. We need somewhere close by for our two grown kids to sleep. We don't need anything fancy, just clean and safe.
EasyHotel was suggested by the Allen House as a good option because they are only a few blocks away. They would work, but they don't refund cancellations at all and we're still hoping we might luck into an upgrade at Allen House to a bigger unit if they have a cancellation. I'd rather reserve something cancellable.
I've found several options on the various websites, but the cheaper ones all get horrid reviews. Can anyone suggest a place for two big kids to lay their heads June 24 - 29 close to the Allen House?
Also, we're renting a car for nearly a month in Manchester, so I'm assuming the cheapest option will be to find somewhere to park it, even if it's somewhere outside the city, for the five nights we'll be in London. Any reasonably priced suggestions where we can just park and grab a train into the city will be appreciated. Or, if by some miracle there IS a reasonable carpark in the Kensington area, I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks for all your help.
