Another question about ressies & upgrades/requests

When I originally made my ressies at Dolphn we were staying 7 nights with a lakeview room. We decided to add another night, so to help pay for the additional night I downgraded to a standard room. However, on my new confirmation, it confirms a traditional room but requests a lakeview and turn down service, neither of which I asked for. How did this happen, and will it hurt my chances getting other requests? I was going to request a renovated East view room, and hope for resort view.

Thanks!

It shouldn't hurt. When you check-in, just humbly ask for the comp upgrade you want most. I have found the CMs most willing to accomodate. I booked a standard room this past July. I asked for a comp upgrade for a balcony room upon check-in. The CM took a minute to look at the computer, looked up at me and said, "I can do that ---- would a Jr. Suite with balcony be okay?"

Needless to say - this was how I reacted -:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
