Another question about AKV points

I have a question about AKV points and I hope I can ask it without confusing everyone!

I have read where people think the 2007 points for AKV will be gone before June and then people will be buying into phase II or 2008 points. If we decide to buy into DVC in August and we have to buy into 2008 points, when will we have points available to us? Will we have to wait until Aug. 08 to have points to use? Will we have points immediately, just not able to use them at AKV? This is all confusing to me!

In the past you had to wait until you were closed to borrow points but could borrow 2008 points into the 2007 use year once you were closed. For SSR they actually allowed some additional flexibility allowing members to borrow prior to closing. This is something you should discuss with your guide to make sure you have the best info possible.
