Another PS question...

We have never made PS before, mainly because we usually go off season and never have had a problem getting in. However, this time we are going July 6-13, as of today I have not made any PS arrangements (except for Character Dinings.) The places that I would like to try are Boma, LeCellier, SciFi and Biergarten. Am I crazy for not making PS for these places?

Also, do we need a credit card to make these PS? What happens if you need to cancel or reschedule once we arrive?

Any help would be great!

i would go ahead and make those ps
if you decide not to go when you are there you can easily call and cancel i dont think you need a cc for the places you mentioned

A PS is easy to make and easy to cancel. When we were there mid-May, we saw people who hadn't made them with long waits or were turned away at almost every place we went. We make them, and then just call and tell them if we decide against it. They don't need much advance warning of a cancellation - it's a PS, not a reservation.

Since you are going in July and those are Dining Plan restaurants, I would definitely make some PS. It is no big deal if you decide not to use them. (If you know ahead of time, you can call WDW Dining and cancel it. Otherwise, don't worry about it. The PS system was created so that no shows wouldn't affect how people are seated in the park restaurants. If you don't check in for your PS, you will not be put into the cue and the next available party will take your place.---from deb's site) You don't want to spend all of your vacation time waiting for a table.
