Never mind having to walk alot, etc. We are early risers and can use the exercise. We live in the Middle of Nowhere and need a quiet place. Which buildings in the AB section of POR are the quietest? We don't care if we have to walk 4 miles (I think we did going to bkfst from the 90s building at POP last winter), we just want quiet for the 6-8 hours we are going to sleep.

TIA!

We were in building 25 and it was very quiet. HOWEVER, we were on the side of the building that did not face the pool. We were also down the end which I thought was a pain at 1st, but then realized it was quiet because the only reason to come that far was to go to our room. When you looked out our window, all you saw was walkways and trees. I think you need to be away from any main paths and roads, not facing a quiet pool. (And hopefully you will have quiet neighbors as we did.)

We were also in building 25, but on the side that faced the pool. The only time we *ever* heard anyone the entire seven days was when there were some younger children unsupervised in the pool and they were yelling and screaming for a couple hours (at 10pm  ).

That only happened once, though. ;) I was honestly surprised at how quiet the resort was. I mean, we saw people everywhere, but we never heard anyone, kwim?

Hmmm...well that kind of blows my theory. Honestly, I too thought it was very quiet, almost eerily so sometimes, except for in the main areas (pool, food court...) and the resort was booked solid for free dining. :confused3 Hopefully the OP has as much luck with the peace as we did. :wizard:

We were in building 14 of the alligator bayou section which is very close to the dining. I did not ever hear any one and we were the bottom floor. I thought it was nice and quiet.
