Another POR - POFQ question

As I said on another thread, we have 2 rooms at POR and 1 at POFQ, but would prefer to have all 3 at POR. We have an AP code on the 2 rooms at POR, but there currently is no availability at POR for the dates for the 3rd room (Jan 12 - 16 -- the 2 rooms at POR are Jan. 9 - 16).

How likely is it that a room at POR might open up at the last minute - say when we check in on Jan 9 or even when the last 2 check in on Jan, 12? And if it does, can we possibly get an AAA code or AP discount applied?

Apparently the MLK weekend has the hotels filled up, but I wondered about last minute cancellations or whatever . .

Keep trying, but don't count on it 100%. Many times we have found AP rates when calling back continuously after being told none were left.

you do realize that POR and POFQ are sister resorts - another words close to each other.

5 minute walk from the part of POR that is close to it (if that long).

You could also ask about POR rooms not discounted. But I think I would just keep POFQ.

POFQ is the first stop on the bus.

so if you get your group in Parterre Place - the ones in the FQ could be closer to you than in other place at POR. put your guest in 5 or 7 at POFQ.
