Hi folks,
I've done a search for an answer to this, but was unsuccessful.
OK: say, for the sake of argument, I booked a stay at my home resort. Let's say it's Saratoga Springs. In order to book said stay I had to borrow points from next year. Now, let's say at the 7th month window, I had the opportunity to change said reservation to one requiring fewer points. Like...I don't know...Old Key West.
Now, I know I can't bank points that have been borrowed, but would DVC consider that most of the points came from THIS year, rather than next year. In other words, could I bank this year's points even though I borrowed some from next year. Or would they say the only points I could bank were borrowed which I know I can't do.
This made sense before I tried to write it down.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any guidance.
Thanks!
