1) The cartoons are on the cable.
2) They are not turned on or off at any particular resorts.
3) They are available at all resorts.
4) Just have to tune the TV, or ask maintenance to do it.

NOTE: A lot of folks complained that cartoons were not available at their resort. They were incorrect. It is just a matter of tuning in.

Man - i wished I thought of that when we were there in July this year.... such a simple solution... and yet amist all the hubbub it didn't even occur to me...

I spent SO MUCH TIME down in the lobby of the GF watching those cartoons with my kiddo..... jeeze!!!!

Unless this is very new, we stayed at the BWV Dec. 10-12 and it was still available there. However, when we stayed at the POR Dec. 4-6 it was not there.

Did you just have to punch in channel 96 at BWV or have to program the tv?? We are staying there next month and my DS will be over the moon if I can find this for him. Thanks to everyone who let us know how to find this channel again

Truthfully , it probably varies by room. If you can't find it, maintenance can come by and program the TV for you.

So, I am back here in WDW - and I can't get channel 96 at all on the tv. I tried entering the numbers in manually - I tried scrolling - I tried calling maintence - even checking to see if the tv had any blocked channels in the menu..... Everytime I hit the 9 and then 6 it would just stay on the channel it was on :-(
I am at the WLV - can anyone help me?

Not sure if this will help but do they have a button with 2 zeros on it??? if so hit that then 96 and see if that workes... I dont remember if they have that are not.....

No, no double 00 :-( .... We've even tried changing the tuner to analog from digital....

found this old post, but was just wondering the same thing about the cartoons. Last year we didn't have them in our room, but never knew of the channel number to change it. Can anyone tell me if they are still playing them and if you still need to program it yourself?

Looks like it's the newly recolored/redone OLD cartoons I saw Bob Iger discuss on CNBC a few months back

It also had the Duffy bedtime story~

My only wish is that they ran the cartoons 24/7 and not just the same loop. In dec the cartoons stopped at certain times for Duffy bed time stories! Lol

We just returned from YC on Sat and my kids also loved the classic cartoons. They were on channel 17 in our room. I have been trying to find these cartoons on DVD but have been unsuccessful.

Looks like i will be trying channel 96 and 17 then. I think the DVD of some classic cartoons are called have a laugh. also my son watches them on you tube.

Its the channel with the Duffy bedtime story on it. But they run the classic cartoons on it when Duffy isn't on.
