Another Perfect Gift question

Hi

I just called Shirley to arrange a basket but she is out of town until Thurs. and I was told to call her back on Sat.

I'm thinking of doing a basket with beer, pop, sand toys, message in a bottle (has anyone gotten those? Are they pretty cool?), maybe underwater cameras, if she has them etc. for the kids and us. In other words, a good size basket.

I know that Shirley has allowed people to send them things to put in with the order. Costco had these great bug catchers filled with candy. I bought them with the thought I would pack and bring them, but it would be so much easier to send them and the effect of having them in the room with the other stuff when we get there. My question is, what kind of stuff has Shirley let you send to her? I know she has candy and snacks so I'm not sure if it would be appropriate to send this to her to put in our basket. The kids just love those bug catcher things, though and that's why I bought them. Aslo, wanted to send on a couple of game boy games.....

For those that have gotten baskets, what do ya think?

I don't think the Bug Catcher things would be a problem. I sent a stuffed 12 X 12 pillow for DD's "congratulations on your promotion" basket last summer and she incorporated it into the "goodies in storage boxes" basket that she created. She put in bottles of Gatorade and lots of munchies as well as the pillow in plastic storage boxes arranged like a basket since the crew cabins are so small.
