Do I have to be in 2 different lines if I want a brunch and dinner reservation?

When we reserved Palo brunch/dinner there were two different tables set up.
Guess it depends on who is working the reservations for that day. Hubby had no problem, he was ther when reservations started and may both very easily.

I recommend getting in the BRUNCH line and then when you get to the front of the line to make your ressie, tell the CM at that point that you'd like a dinner ressie too.

There were 2 different tables on the Magic in December: one for dinner and one for brunch and tea. There weren't really any lines; maybe 1 or 2 people in front of me and I got exactly what I wanted. (There were probably several hundred people who boarded in front of us, and we went straight to the reservations location at Rockin' Bar D.)

On the 12-4 Magic cruise, I had already decided on what night I wanted to have dinner. When I got to the entrance of Rockin' Bar D, I looked at the board that was set up, listing the dates and times still available. The night I wanted was still available, so I looked for the station that had Tuesday night, I went to that station, there was no one in front of me, and booked our dinner.

I then asked where the brunch reservations were being taken and was told that PJ, the manager, was taking them at one of the booths. I walked over
and spoke with PJ, a dear, sweet friend CM, we have cruised with many times,
I took his suggestion of "Sunday brunch", we chatted for a few minutes and
I was out of there in about 10 minutes, 15 minutes tops.

So, in answer to your question, there are what I call "stations" set up for guests to go to and book the reservations. There were "stations" for dinner, and brunch. I'd guess that PJ was also booking High Tea, but since we weren't interested in HT, I didn't think to ask.

If you go to the reservation site as soon as you board the ship, you should not have any problem booking a dinner and brunch.

Will they know at the reservation site, what resturants we are supposed to be at inthe rotation? Because we figured that we will want to go to Palo on a night where we are booked for a restuarant we have already been to during the rotation on the 4 ngiht cruise.

I was thinking of trying to do dinner the first night--Sunday that we are on the boat--do they do dinner that night? I do not want to miss Pirate Night. And since that one repeats I figured it would be ok to miss the first night. Any suggestions?

Just throwing my question in this thread also, If your repeat dinner is at AP, the second night the light show is not on, right? Where is the Pirate Night? Is that in a restaurant? PC maybe? And if it is and PC is your repeat dinner, will Pirate Night be duplicated?

So many questions, so little time...

From what I understand is wherever your first night meal is is what is duplicated for Pirate night. That is why Would not mind missing the first night. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
