Another onboard credit question

We are 1 party split between 2 rooms. Once our FCC converts to onboard credit; will we be able to combine both rooms credit into one pot for everyone or does it have to stay assigned to each room?

I was advised you cannot combine both rooms’ FCC; it remains assigned to the individual(s) in the room(s) who have the credit.
