I can't find this on another thread or the FAQs, so I guess I'll have to start a new thread!

Family of 4, going in June for 6 nights, 7 days. Can I buy a 10 day non-expiring ticket but get the dining package for only the 6 night stay? Must I get the dining package for each night of my hotel stay or could I opt for only 4 of the 6 nights to have the dining package?

Also, is it true that I will be paying rack rate for the room if I choose the dining package? Can codes be applied?

Thanks for the info.

Carmen

The dining package must match the number of nights that the reservation is for. You can get the tickets for however many days you want, but the dining is based on the Length of stay. Not sure about the other question (about codes).

Your tickets don't have to be the same as your hotel stay, but your dining and hotel have to be the same. At first everyone was saying you had to pay rack rate and could not add dining plan to a discounted room, but if you look on the Resorts forum there are a few people who have been allowed to do it. It is worth a shot!!

We just got back on Sunday. We would have saved $150 with the dining plan BUT we didn't want to lose our room discount AND we didn't want to bother changing the Park Passes around. Well, now I feel like an idiot for not ASKING if we could add the dining and keep our code. With many things at Disney it seem to be entirely with who you ask!

Just a suggestion, but you may consider a room only reservation for the one night that you don't need the dining.
