Another October Cancellation

My husband's guard unit was just activated and will be leaving the week before our scheduled trip to the fort.So with very heavy heart on two fronts I am cancelling our trip till my best buddy is home sometime in 2009.If anyone needs a site I had Oct 26 till Nov 1 booked.It was a partial hookup site.I will hold off cancellingfor a few days in case someone needs those dates and will try to coordinate with them. So for the time being I will have to get my fort fix here. I'll being lurking in the back ground.

I too will have you in my thoughts and prayers for a safe and quick return for your best bud and hubby. Even though you had to cancel, you have next year to look forward to.......maybe by then Disney will realize how ridiculous they are being with raising their site prices and have a change of heart and lower them back down.....Hey, we can only hope! (Not to mention you will have all year to save for an even better trip due to all of the tax free pay....lol) Just a thought, but maybe you can call the poster on total phone who wanted your dates and then call Disney to cancel so that she can just pick them up right there....kind of like a conference call. Or will Disney let you do that? Like I said it was just a thought.

our son will be leaving in Nov., he to is in the Guard, we are in Texas, his wife and our grandson live in sweetwater, tx....good luck to you and we will pray for his safe return.............

yeah, but think about it, you can like roll two vacations in one and make it twice as long. He'll deserve it.

I would've snatched those dates up if it was for a full hook-up site. I already have a ressie for partial for the 29-4.

Good luck. And I'll try to get pictures of Halloween for you. It's been our tradition for the past 3 years to be there for it. So I wouldn't want to miss it either.
